The confidence gap

Software skills help you draw a part. Engineering understanding helps you explain it.

Students often see isolated components, processes and interview questions. Industry expects them to connect function, material, manufacturing, quality, cost and validation as one system.

This Academy builds that connection step by step—using generic, publicly explainable learning examples and simulated work, never proprietary company information.

Learn the product as a system

Three major interior systems become your engineering classroom.

Start with what the customer sees and touches, then trace every design decision to a function, process and risk.

01

Instrument panel

Structure, safety interfaces, controls, appearance and assembly thinking.

02

Door systems

Trim architecture, touch zones, storage, interfaces, fastening and quality.

03

Center console

Packaging, functions, surface harmony, mechanisms and integration.

One clear flagship path

4-Month Automotive Interiors Professional Program

Learning progresses from fundamentals to applied engineering work, communication and interview readiness. No confusing course ladder.

01

Understand the complete interior

Vehicle-interior overview, product architecture, materials, surfaces, packaging and engineering vocabulary.

02

Learn how products become real

Manufacturing methods, assembly, common defects, quality thinking, testing and validation fundamentals.

03

See how a program is managed

Development stages, responsibilities, costing logic, change control, reviews and cross-functional teamwork.

04

Apply, present and prove

Simulated projects, assignments, technical reviews, portfolio evidence, communication practice and mock interviews.

Learn step by step · no industry experience required

Eight Digital Labs connect the complete RFQ-to-SOP engineering journey.

Each lab is a dedicated guided-learning application. Students observe products, understand the engineering logic, make decisions, record evidence and improve through trainer feedback.

LAB 01 · Engineering Lab

Explore the product, not just an assignment question.

What the digital lab teaches

Work with interactive Instrument Panel, Door Panel and Center Console models across 126 studio lessons, then complete five Base/Mid/High variant missions covering architecture, interfaces and programme impact.

3D product engineering · guided self-learningBuild product understanding through 131 connected guided learning steps and trainer-reviewed evidence.
LAB 02 · Program Management Lab

See how a vehicle-interior program moves from nomination to launch.

What the digital lab teaches

Learn milestones, stakeholder ownership, lead times, APQP, change control, risk recovery and launch readiness through a dedicated program-learning environment.

Timing · ownership · launchConnect every milestone to its owner, input, decision, evidence and timing impact.
LAB 03 · Testing & Validation Lab

Turn requirements into a validation decision you can defend.

What the digital lab teaches

Learn DVP&R logic, test selection, samples, conditions, acceptance criteria, failure investigation, corrective action and release evidence in a dedicated validation environment.

Requirement · evidence · releaseUnderstand why a test is needed, what evidence it creates and how it supports release.
SPECIALIST SKILL CLASSROOMS · AVAILABLE NOW

Learn the method first—then practise, explain and prove it.

Each specialist lab uses five detailed modules with key terms, step-by-step methods, formulas where relevant, worked examples, IP/DP/Center Console comparisons, knowledge checks, cloud progress and trainer-reviewed evidence.

LAB 04

Costing Lab

Learn RM consumption and price, MHR, labour, assembly, tooling, overhead, margin and tax treatment through worked IP, Door Panel and Center Console calculations.

Observe → Understand → Apply → Explain → Prove
LAB 05

Materials Lab

Learn polymer and surface systems, datasheet thinking, layer stacks, failures and traceable IP/DP/CC material recommendations.

Observe → Understand → Apply → Explain → Prove
LAB 06

GD&T Lab

Learn functional datums/RPS, geometric controls, tolerance-stack calculation and inspection planning—not symbols in isolation.

Observe → Understand → Apply → Explain → Prove
LAB 07

Quality Lab

Learn VOC-to-CTQ, PFMEA, control plans, MSA, Cp/Cpk interpretation and evidence-based 8D problem closure.

Observe → Understand → Apply → Explain → Prove
LAB 08

Innovation Lab

Learn opportunity framing, responsible benchmarking, weighted concept selection, feasibility and gated experiments.

Observe → Understand → Apply → Explain → Prove

Clear answers

Before you register

Is this a CAD software course?

No. It focuses on automotive-interior product and engineering understanding. CAD learners can use it to strengthen the reasoning behind their models.

Will the program use confidential company data?

No. Learning examples and simulated projects are generic and developed from public or authorised information.

Does completion guarantee a job?

No training program can guarantee placement. The program is designed to improve competence, communication, portfolio evidence and interview readiness.

How is performance recorded?

Attendance, quizzes, assignments, project work, viva and trainer review contribute to the certificate and performance annexure, subject to the applicable release criteria.

Who can access the Digital Labs?

Only a Google account linked to an active Academy student record can open the labs. Lab work, Drive evidence and trainer feedback stay connected to the learner's Student ID and batch.
